The Bible tells us to go the extra mile for others in Matthew 5:41.
“Whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two.”
We invite you to go the second mile with us on Saturday, September 12, at our fundraising walk, which will also heighten awareness of the pressing issues of food and housing insecurity in our community.
We encourage all participants to ask their friends, co-workers, neighbors, and family members to support their walk efforts by making a small donation. Individual and Team prizes will be given for:
1) Who raises the most money.
2) Who has the highest number of donors.
3) (For teams) Have the highest percentage of team members who fundraised (must have at least 5 team members to qualify for this prize).
